Multi-Mailbox Email App – Omnichannel, Inside Origami!

Email just became native to Origami. With 6.2.5, you can connect multiple mailboxes or SMTP accounts and manage all communication directly in the platform.

From within Origami, you can track every email sent and received through your connected accounts, all in one organized view. Messages are captured, logged, and always available where you need them.

And here’s the big leap: emails are now part of the Origami omnichannel experience. Every message can live in context, right inside a client or lead record, and you can reply or follow up directly from the omni-widget – just like WhatsApp. No more scattered conversations, no more switching tools-your communication history, across channels, is finally in one place.

 How to set up the Email App

  1. Create a new page.
  2. Set the page type as “Page with Application.”
  3. Choose the mail icon.
  4. Install and create the page.
  5. Open the Entity Settings for your Email App.
  6. Click the Configurations button.
  7. Use the “+” icon to add a new account.
  8. Choose whether to connect via SMTP or Microsoft 365.
  9. Enter the required fields (SMTP credentials or Microsoft login) and connect the mailbox.

 Connect the Email App to the Omnichannel

  1. From the Visual Editor, create a new Omni Widget.
  2. In properties (Step 3) turn on the radio button for “Email App.
  3. Save the widget.
  4. Enter an instance you’d like to send mail from (e.g., a client record).
  5. Click the “Send Message” button inside the Omni Widget.
  6. In the Channel dropdown, select Email App.
  7. Choose which mailbox account to send from.
  8. Add your subject and content, upload files if needed, and hit Send.

Bring your webforms to life! Now, every file field can show an instant image preview – no downloads, no guessing.
Whether it’s an ID photo, a signed document, or a custom banner, your clients and leads see the right file the moment they upload it.
This makes your forms more personal, professional, and trustworthy, while reducing mistakes and back-and-forth, so every interaction feels seamless.

Safe-Delete Validation for Entities & Categories

No more accidental wipes. With Origami 6.2.5, deleting an entity or category now requires a confirmation step and your password. That means every removal is intentional, verified, and secure.It’s a small detail, but an important safeguard – protecting your data model from slip-ups and giving admins peace of mind that nothing disappears without a deliberate choice.

Full Field & Group Settings Inside the Visual Editor

The Visual Editor just leveled up!
Until now, you could move fields, rearrange groups, or add new ones-but to change settings, permissions, or visibility, you had to jump back and forth to the fields settings.

With Origami 6.2.5, that’s history.
You can now access the complete settings for any field or field group directly in the Visual Editor, including permissions, visibility, and configuration. That means you can design the UI, define the UX, and control the backend behavior all from one screen.
No more switching contexts. No more breaking your flow. Just pure, seamless building, exactly the way it should be.

The All-New File Manager!

With Origami 6.2.5, you get a full File Manager directly from system preferences – finally giving you visibility and control over every file across your platform. Here’s how it works:

Active Files
See all the files currently in use across your system, with reference to where each file is linked and who uploaded them. If you delete a file here, it automatically moves to Archive or to Unlinked Files, depending on the field’s settings.

Archived Files
For fields configured with an archive, files removed from active use are safely stored here – your built-in safety net for keeping past versions accessible when needed. If a file is deleted from the archive, it will be permanently removed from the system.

Detach Files
These are files that once lived in a file field but no longer have an active connection to any entity or record. Instead of disappearing, they’re gathered here-ensuring nothing gets lost without trace.

Redesigned File History for File Fields

With Origami 6.2.5, the File History view (the “H” button on file fields with archive enabled) gets a fresh new design.

You can now easily see each file’s name, preview, size, archive date, and uploader in a clear and structured layout. Navigation is smoother than ever with built-in search and paging controls, making it effortless to review archived files.

Repeatable Groups in Table Widgets & Sortable List Widget

Show more, click less. In 6.2.5 you can display multiple repeatable groups in a single Table widget and in the Sortable List widget – choose exactly which fields to include from each group and define their position/order.

The result: you can view all repeatable group data directly from the widget’s perspective, without needing to click into the instance.

Moveable Tools & SensAI Tabs
A subtle update that makes a big difference in usability: the green Tools and SensAI tabs on the right-hand side of the screen can now be dragged up or down along the edge.

That means you can position them exactly where they feel most comfortable for you – whether that’s eye-level for quick access, or tucked lower so they don’t distract your flow. It’s all about making the interface adapt to you, not the other way around.

External Calendar Integration – Real Scheduling Power

Booking meetings through Origami just got smarter than ever. With 6.2.5, webforms can now sync directly with Google Calendar, making scheduling seamless for both you and your clients.

When someone fills out your webform and picks a time, Origami checks availability against two calendars at once—your Origami calendar and your Gmail calendar. Only truly open slots appear, so double bookings and conflicts are a thing of the past.

Once a slot is chosen, the meeting is instantly created in Origami’s calendar, keeping your team aligned. And if “Send Calendar Events” is enabled in the Calendar View settings, the client will also receive the invite straight into their Google Calendar – so everyone is on the same page from the start.

This isn’t just scheduling, it’s real-time coordination across platforms. Two calendars, one webform, zero friction.

Quick Environment Switcher

Working across multiple Origami environments just got easier. Instead of opening new tabs and logging in again, you can now add additional accounts straight from your main menu (top right, alongside System Preferences and My Profile).

Once added, switching between environments is instant – just a single click to move from one setup to another.

For implementers and admins who manage several environments, this small fix is a huge time saver: less friction, more focus, and a smoother workflow across all your projects.

Repeatable Groups Design in Documents

As part of the enhancements to the Repeatable Groups feature in documents and contracts, we are introducing several new design capabilities:

Example rows now appear as placeholders inside repeatable groups, giving users a clear visual preview of the expected content.

Enhanced Side Panel with Two Tabs

The side panel for repeatable groups now includes two inner tabs:

  • Fields – Manage the repeatable group’s data fields with ease.
  • Design – Customize the repeatable group’s appearance.

Advanced Design Controls

Within the Design tab, users can style both headers and rows using all existing text formatting options -font, size, color, alignment, and more.
