What’s New in 6.2.7
1. Editable Data Names – Everywhere
You can now view and edit data names for fields and groups directly from both the Visual Editor and the Classic Editor.
In addition, entity data names can be updated from the Entity Settings screen – making system structure clearer, more consistent, and easier to maintain across teams.
2. Smarter linking and filtering in Table & Sortable lists Widgets and Relation Fields
Table & Sortable list widgets and Relation fields now support “Target field” link/filter between different field types – for example: formula field to a selection field.
3. Omni Widget Notifications (Assigned or Fixed User)
You can now set notifications on the Omni widget for:
- The user assigned to the instance, or
- A fixed, predefined users
Notifications are currently triggered for incoming messages from a specific channel or all of them, providing instant visual notifications and faster response capabilities.
4. “View All Results” in Smart Search
At the bottom of Smart Search results, you can now click “View All” to open a full entity list with all relevant instances.
Displayed columns follow the “Record Name” configuration in Entity Settings.
If none are defined, columns are shown according to their creation order.
5. Retroactive Updates for Relation Field Displays
When you change which fields are displayed in a relation field, the update now applies retroactively to all existing records.
Example:
If a link previously showed only First Name and you add Last Name, all existing relation fields are updated automatically.
6. Search Inside Instance History
A new search bar has been added to the instance history view, allowing you to quickly find specific notes, events, or changes – not just add new comments.
7. Password Verification When Deleting Fields
To prevent accidental data loss, saving changes now requires password confirmation whenever one or more fields are deleted – whether the deletion is performed from the Visual Editor or the Classic Editor.
8. More Than 3 Workflow Actions for the New Pricing Plan users
Users on the new pricing plan can now add more than three actions to a workflow.
Users on older plans will see a clear in-product message explaining the limitation when attempting to exceed it.
9. New PBX Application (Beta)
You can now add a PBX application as part of the Origami Omni-Channel capabilities.
Incoming calls are shown as real-time notifications to the designated users by extension, with automatic caller identification by phone number.
Calls also appear and are logged in the Omni Widget with live status updates from the PBX provider, including time, duration, and call recording.
